Happy Birthday Blog. It was one year ago this week that you were born. It's been a rocky 1st year and I know I have neglected you at times. I didn't write anything on you once for several months in a row. I know...I know I told you it was because of Taylor's football and Katie's cheerleading practices and I just didn't have the time but it was probably laziness on my part more than anything. I am sorry blog. It won't happen again.
I have also tried to change your appearance several times this year but no one has ever sent an e-mail about that. They have been sending e-mails about what is written on your pages though. I should know that it's what is on the inside that counts. Your right, I am shallow and silly at times. Like now for instance.
I wonder what the new year will bring. I have some really smart friends who are pastors, teachers or Sunday school teachers. You, bloggie, are showing that this is a great way to communicate with friends, family, church, Sunday school class, Home Group or whoever, whether near or far. Everyone would have to know that this is very easy if I can do it but I wonder if everyone knows how cheap you are... NO! Not like that Bloggie Bloggerson. You're so sensitive. I just wanted folks to know that it only cost me $4.95 a month to do this. So back off or I'll start writing bad words on you.
Grandparents love it for the pictures and family updates, even though they live far away but where I really see your value is to help a Pastor or a leader of any sort to communicate with those he leads. It would be much better than just a monthly newsletter or a weekly 2 hour gathering. A leader's responsibilites don't end there. There are people that read this that I know I would love to be able to pick their brain from time to time or have the opportunity for them to consistantly challenge me with what God may be teaching them but time and travel constraints prevent that from happening. That's where you could help them Bloggie. I hate sharing you with anyone because I know others who read you are smarter and wiser than me and will treat you better but people need to take advantage of this new way of communicating the same way Marty (honk if you love the pope) Luther and Johnny (Mr. Destiny) Calvin used your Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Uncle Gutenberg to spread the Good News. Thank goodness they used the new technology, huh Bloggie Bloggerson.
So anyway Bloggie; have a happy birthday. It's been a fun first year.
